When creating an invoice template in Communication Templates and Custom Documents, sometimes some job information will be needed. In these cases, we'll need to indicate to the system that we need information pulled from the job instead of from the invoice!
When creating an Invoice Communication Template, any tag that starts with {Job:____} will need to use the "! Insert Me First !" tag at the top of the Job Details section to accurately bring job information in to your template.
When this tag is added to your template, you'll notice that it is comprised of both the {Invoice:JobsBegin} and {Invoice:JobsEnd} tags.

If you just have a singular {Job:___} tag then you can just place that tag between these sandwich tags and save your template. If you have multiple {Job:___} tags spanning your entire Invoice Communication Template, then you can place the {Invoice:JobsBegin} tag at the top of your template and the {Invoice:JobsEnd} at the end of your template with no issue. These tags will not interfere with any {Invoice:___} tags you may have in your template.
Please Note: The sandwich tags found within Communication Templates are part of a single tag so you will need to utilize keyboard shortcuts to copy/paste these where you'll need them.
Windows: Ctrl + C is copy, Ctrl + V is paste
Mac: Command + C is copy, Command + V is paste

Once you preview the template, as long as those sandwich tags are both present and includes all {Job:___} tags, the system will pull information from the job!

Creating an Invoice Template within Custom Documents has the same principle regarding Sandwich tags but the location of the tags is a bit different. The {Invoice:JobsBegin} and {Invoice:JobsEnd} tags will still need to be utilized before and after any tag labelled as {Job:___}, however, they will be located within the Invoice section of tags here. Please note: If you have a hard time finding these tags, or any others, you can utilize the Search Tags option.
You may notice that the Sandwich tags located within Custom Documents are separate tags instead of located within the same tag as in Communication Templates. Be sure to add both of these tags to your template to encompass any {Job:___} tags you have included. Much like Communication Templates, if you'd like to place the {Invoice:JobsBegin} tag at the start of your template and the {Invoice:JobsEnd} tag at the end of your template, you most certainly can with no impact to any other tags.
