At times, you may find that you need to communicate with your entire company regarding any number of things. With Service Fusion, this can easily be done using Company Memos!
Company Memos affect the back office (desktop site) only.
To navigate to Company Memos, hover your mouse over My Office and select Company Memos at the top of the left most column:
The Company Memos dashboard looks very similar to many other dashboards across Service Fusion. We can see a lot of information at a glance such as the (1)subject of the memo, a (2)preview of the content, the (3)priority level, (4)who created the memo, if it's been (5)marked as read, and an (6)actions bar (The actions present here may differ per memo based on permission during creation):

To create a new memo, click Add New in the top right corner of the page:

On the resulting page, you'll be presented with something that looks very similar to an email. You'll add the Subject of your memo, as well as the body of the memo. The body is extremely customizable utilizing the tool bar located within this section:

Once you've created your memo content, you'll need to set up the preferences and permissions for this memo. All permissions and preferences are specific to each memo and will not carry across different memos in your system. The first option is the priority - This will only be reflected on the Company Memo dashboard and does not affect when, where, and how the memo will appear in the system. Next is the option to set an expiration date for the memo. This is not required, but if chosen, the system will stop showing the memo on the specified date:

Next is the permission that will enable you to create memos that will only display for specific individuals in your company. If the "This is a Group Memo" toggle is set to No, the memo will display for every user within your Service Fusion account. If it's toggled to Yes, you'll have the ability to assign a group to the memo. This will ensure that the memo will only appear to individuals within the specified group:

The group assignation that Company Memos will reference for this permission is assigned within the Workforce Management profile of each user. When editing, or creating, a user within Service Fusion, under the "Employment" tab is the option to assign that user to a group:

The last line of preferences for your memo will control visibility. Where do you want this memo to appear? The Service Fusion system can display the memo upon user sign in, upon navigation to a job, and/or upon navigation to the Dispatch Screen. You can toggle all of these to Yes, or only one!

Once saved, the next time the indicated users navigate to the page chosen to display the memo, they will have a dialogue pop up with the option to click the subject line to read the memo, or Mark As Read. Please Note: The system assumes the creator of the Company Memo is aware of the memo contents and will not display the memo for the creator - Even if they are part of the indicated group the memo is set to display for. Once Mark As Read has been chosen, the "Read?" column on the Company Memos dashboard will reflect that the memo has been read by the intended recipients:

When the intended recipient chooses to navigate to the memo, they will see a basic "View" screen of the memo created. This will not mark it as read:
The last permission to determine before saving your memo is who can modify this memo. This toggle switch is what determines what actions are available on the Company Memo dashboard for other users within Service Fusion!

If the toggle for "Only I Can Modify This Memo" is set to No, any user can View, Edit, or Delete the memo. If this toggle is set to "Yes", other users will only be able to View the memo.
For example, this memo has the "Only I Can Modify This Memo" set to Yes because they only have the View option under the Actions column:

In this example, the memo has the "Only I Can Modify This Memo" set to No because they have the option to View, Edit, and Delete available as Actions:

Please Note: Memos can be deleted at any time as long as the permission is set to allow for others to modify the memo. The creator of the memo will always have access to View, Edit, or Delete their memo.
