Worker App Permissions can be toggled on and off by going to My Office > Workforce Management, and selecting the employee you wish to edit by clicking the Pencil icon at the end of their row. Select the tab labeled Access, and scroll to the bottom to see the Worker App Permission toggles.

This article will provide in-depth insight to what each toggle does in the NO position, and what each toggle does in the YES position. There are many aspects to the Workforce Management section, and there are many permissions that will affect the back office (desktop/browser version of Service Fusion) but this article focuses on permissions that affect the worker app only.
There are a few exceptions, where additional permissions exist outside the Access tab section. We'll cover those first.
On the Personal tab, four options affect the worker app:

The first, " In Field Worker App, Can View Schedules Of" allows the user to see work assigned to themselves, as well as any other employee selected in that drop down menu. If you only want your field worker to see their own work, select only their name.
Please Note: This permission will ALSO impact if you can see the employee’s links to add their calendar to your iCal or Google Calendar!
To the right, "In Field Worker App, Can View Locations Of" allows the user to view the locations of other technicians by selecting My Team from the home screen of the worker app.
Please Note: These locations are approximate, and may be slightly off if: other users haven't enabled location permissions on their mobile device, if other users are clocked out, or if the user viewing the map or other users have a poor data/internet connection.
The third permission, "In Field Worker App, Allow To Change Job/Estimate Assignment" would give the user the ability to unassign themselves from a job or estimate, and assign a different field worker. This can be very useful for team leaders or field supervisors.
Finally, "In Field Worker App, Allow To View Unassigned Jobs/Estimates" would give the user the ability to view jobs and estimates that have not been assigned to any field worker yet. This works very well with the previous permission!
The other permissions that affect the Worker App, but are not included under the Worker App Permissions header on the Access tab, are the Job and Estimate checkbox permissions located on the Access tab in the System Access Permissions section.
The Jobs and Estimates permissions will impact the user’s ability to add or edit photo captions (also known as photo comments) on images uploaded to jobs or estimates. To ensure your field worker is able to add these captions, be sure to check the Update boxes on both Jobs and Estimates, as seen below:

With those few exceptions explained now, the remainder of the permissions affecting the Worker App will be found almost all the way at the bottom of the Access tab of the employee’s Workforce Management profile.

The following table explains each permission, and its function when the toggle is in the Yes position, and its function when the toggle is in the No position.
