Link external phone numbers and cell phones to your user account
ServiceCall.ai allows users to setup external phone numbers which the phone system will ring when a user is not signed into their softphone inside the Call Center interface. A device can be a cell phone or a direct-dial landline or a VoIP-phone.
This is especially useful when a user is unlikely to be signed into the softphone. The first active device becomes the user's primary call route.
You can turn Devices on and off, and select whether the system should send a text message notification to that device each time a new text message or a voicemail is received. This setting will apply to your personal and any shared group inboxes of which you are a member.
Adding a New Device
- Click Settings on the main menu and select My Devices
- Click Add a new Device button in the upper right hand corner of the screen
- Name your device, type in the phone number of the device and click Add
NOTE: The phone number must be a valid US or Canadian phone number
