Introducing custom hold music in ServiceCall.ai! A new entry has been created in the System Config menu option that allows for the customization of hold music that a caller would hear when a ServiceCall.ai agent places a caller on hold.
To customize your hold music, begin by navigating to the ServiceCall.ai admin interface, then select settings, and then select System Config:
You will then see the hold music section inside of System Config:
You have four options for customizing your hold music. You can choose between reading text like a robot, uploading a prerecorded .mp3 file, recording a new audio file using the telephony function (which, once complete, uploads to the library, for choosing the upload function), or if a previous file has already been uploaded to your instance of ServiceCall.ai, the ability to choose from this library of files, in order for the menu to be able to use an existing file. The original, default hold music will also be an option in the library once the hold music has been customized to something else of your choosing.
If no custom hold music has been selected, the default hold music will appear in this section and the default hold music will be played when the caller is placed on hold.
