Important Information:
- Labor tracking depends on technician status updates
- Technician statuses must be selected correctly to avoid incorrect time entries
- Labor time can be manually adjusted if needed
Strategic Workflow:
- Use the correct status flow
- Confirm timestamps
- Adjust time if needed
- Mark labor as billable when applicable
Starting Labor Time:
- Open the job
- Update technician status to Started
Labor time will begin automatically.
Stopping Labor Time:
- Update status to:
- Partially Completed, or
- Completed
Labor time stops based on the selected status.
Viewing Labor Time:
- Navigate to Job > Edit Job
- Open the Drive & Labor Time tab
Adjusting Labor Time:
- Navigate to Job > Edit Job
- Open the Drive & Labor Time tab
- Edit:
- Start time
- End time
- Add new time entries
Marking Labor as Billable:
- In the Drive & Labor Time tab
- Select the Billable checkbox
Automating Labor Billing:
- Navigate to the Customer Account
- Click on the Financial Data tab
- Set "Labor Charge Type" to Hourly
- Enter hourly rate
