Important Information:
- A "Job Template" must be created before it can be applied
- Information stored in a template will override blank fields in a new job
- You can use templates from the Job Templates Dashboard or directly from the Create a Job screen
- This feature can only be accessed from the back office and is not available in the mobile app
- Job templates cannot be applied when converting an estimate to a job as the job is automatically created using the information from the estimate

- Applying a template is especially valuable when jobs share similar requirements, tasks, or customer instructions
Process Description:
There are two primary methods for using an existing Job Template:
- Applying the template from the Job Templates Dashboard
- Applying the template from the Create a Job screen
Applying a Template from the Job Templates Dashboard:
- Hover your mouse over the Jobs tab
- Select Job Templates
- Locate the desired "Job Template"
- Select Create a New Job From This Template
- A new job will open with the template information applied
- Update additional fields and press Save Job to create the job
Applying a Template from the Create Job Screen:
- Navigate to the Create a Job screen
- Select Create From Template in the upper‑right corner
- Choose the appropriate template from the dropdown list
- All fields saved in the template will auto‑populate into the new job
- Update additional fields and press Save Job to create the job
