Creating and Managing Warehouse Sublocations

- Warehouse administrators
- Users managing multi-tier warehouse structures
- Sublocations help organize inventory using aisles, shelves, and bins
- A 3-tier structure is supported: Warehouse → Aisle → Shelf → Bin
- Sublocations must be created before receiving inventory
Process Description:
- Navigate to Warehouse Management
- Select an existing warehouse or create a new one
- Locate the Sublocations section
- Click the [+] icon to add a sublocation
- Rename the sublocation by clicking the A icon
- Add additional tiers by clicking the [+] icon next to the sublocation
- Repeat to build out aisles, shelves, and bins
Accessing Warehouse Management:
- Navigate to My Office
- Select Warehouse Management
Selecting or Creating a Warehouse:
- Select an existing warehouse
Adding Sublocations:
- Locate the Assign Sublocations section
- Select the + icon next to the warehouse name to add a sublocation
- A default sublocation name (for example, Sublocation1) appears
- Hover over the sublocation
- Select the edit (A) icon to rename the sublocation
Adding Shelves:
- Select the + icon next to the aisle to add a shelf
- Rename the shelf as needed
Adding Bins:
- Select the + icon next to the shelf to add a bin
- Rename the bin as needed
Building the Sublocation Structure:
- Continue adding aisles, shelves, and bins as needed to build out the warehouse structure
Preparing for Inventory Receiving:
- Ensure all sublocations are created before receiving inventory
- Sublocations must be set up in advance to receive inventory into specific warehouse locations
