Important Information:
- Sublocations help organize inventory using aisles, shelves, and bins
- A 3-tier structure is supported: Warehouse → Aisle → Shelf → Bin
- Sublocations must be created before receiving inventory
Strategic Workflow:
- Access warehouse management
- Add sublocations using the [+] icon
- Rename, reorganize, or delete sublocations
- Assign inventory to sublocations during receiving
Process Description:
- Navigate to Warehouse Management
- Select an existing warehouse or create a new one
- Locate the Sublocations section
- Click the [+] icon to add a sublocation
- Rename the sublocation by clicking the A icon
- Add additional tiers by clicking the [+] icon next to the sublocation
- Repeat to build out aisles, shelves, and bins
- Receive inventory into sublocations via Inventory Orders
Step-by-Step Instruction:
Go to My Office > Warehouse Management
Select a warehouse or create a new one
If no sublocations exist, locate the "Assign Sublocations" section and click the [+] icon next to the warehouse name to add a sublocation
A default name like Sublocation1 will appear
Hover over the sublocation and click the A icon to rename it
To add a shelf under an aisle, click the [+] icon next to the aisle
To add a bin under a shelf, click the [+] icon next to the shelf
Continue adding sublocations as needed at each tier
To receive inventory to a Warehouse sublocation, the sublocations must be set up before receiving the inventory into the Service Fusion system, following the steps mentioned above.
