The Pause applet is the last applet found when creating Call Flows.
When creating a Call Flow that includes the Enqueue applet, the Greeting applet will likely be used as the first Wait Action within the flow. The Greeting applet does not have a pause function and will repeat the greeting continuously. In order to circumvent this function, we have the Pause applet!
Within the Enqueue call flow, once a greeting is placed in to the flow there will be an option to place an applet in the "Next" section. This is the ideal place for the Pause applet as this will prevent the greeting from playing on an endless loop for customers that are calling in.
Once the Pause applet has been added to the flow, the option to set how long of a pause will be presented. The length represents the number of seconds of silence between the original greeting and the Next action.
Once the length has been determined, the system will need to know what to do once that time allotment has passed so another applet will need to be selected and placed in to the "Next" field.
