Creating, Using, Removing and Managing Job Tags

Best Suited for:

• Back Office administrators
• Users managing jobs
• Users organizing workflows by tag-based categorization

Important Information:

• Tags help organize jobs across the Jobs Dashboard and reports
• Job tags are not visible to customers and are for internal use only
• Tags are not visible in the field worker app
• Tags cannot be imported or batch edited
• Tags can be used interchangeably between estimates and jobs
• Tags are searchable via Global Search and visible within the Jobs Dashboard

Strategic Workflow:

• Use tags to group jobs by type, status, or internal workflow
• Tags helps identify trends and manage job segmentation

Process Description:

• Create a tag on a job
• Select an existing tag
• Remove a tag from a job
• Manage tags

Creating a Tag on a Job:

1. Open the job in view or edit mode
2. Click +Tag, by the job number
3. Type the tag name and press enter to add the tag
4. Click the blue checkmark to create the tag(s)

Applying an Existing Tag:

1. Open the job in view or edit mode
2. Click +Tag, by the job number
3. Begin typing in the tag field on a job
4. Choose from the drop-down list of existing active tags
5. Click the blue checkmark to save the tag(s) to the job

Removing a Tag from a Job:

1. Open the job in view or edit mode
2. Click the tag on the job
3. Click the “x” next to the tag name
4. Click the blue checkmark to save

Managing Tags:

Hover over "My Office" > Click Tags > Click Estimate & Job Tags

From here, you can:

• View the number of estimates, jobs, and templates that are associated with each tag
• Delete tags
  • Click the trashcan to delete
  • If the tag is used within any jobs or estimates, you will be presented with this warning message: WARNING: Deleting this tag will remove it from all associated jobs and estimates (including templates). This action cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to permanently delete this tag?
  • Click Yes, delete
• Rename tags
  • Click on the Tag Name
  • Type in the preferred tag name
  • Click blue checkmark to save the changes

Note: You cannot create new tags from this screen

• Commercial
• Follow-up
• Bad Debt
• Do Not Service
• Potential Member
• Member
• Deposit Required
• Zip Code
• Dispatch Zone
• Warranty Status
• Resource Skill Level
• Customer Experience
• Invoice Schedule Reference

Reports that Include Job Tags:

• Reports Center – Sales Revenue Report
• Sales Revenue Reports
