Important Information:
- Jobs can be created directly from the Dispatch Grid using a right‑click action
- The date, time, and technician are auto‑populated based on where the job is created on the Dispatch Grid
- For a job to remain visible on the Dispatch Grid, it must have:
- An assigned technician
- A specific date and time saved
- Jobs missing either value are moved to the Bullpen
Process Description:
- Open the Dispatch Grid
- Locate the appropriate technician row and time slot
- Right‑click the grid to initiate job creation
- Confirm auto‑populated scheduling fields
- Complete required job details and save
Creating a New Job from the Dispatch Grid:
- Navigate to Dispatch > Dispatch Grid
- Locate the technician row and time slot where the job should be scheduled
- Right‑click the desired cell on the grid
- Select Job from the menu

Verify the auto‑populated fields:
- Start Date
- Start Time
- Assigned Technician

Enter the required job details, such as:
- Customer information
- Job Category
- Job Status
- Any additional required fields
- Select Save Job to create the job
The job is created and appears on the Dispatch Grid at the selected technician and time slot.
What Happens After Saving:
- The job remains visible on the Dispatch Grid when all required scheduling fields are saved
- Jobs missing a technician or time are moved to the Bullpen for further scheduling
