Important Information:
- The Detailed Job View dialog opens without a full screen refresh, allowing dispatchers to maintain visibility of the Dispatch Grid
- Templated Dispatch text messages can be sent directly from the Detailed Job View
- Once the edits have been made, changes will save automatically
Process Description:
- Open the Dispatch Grid
- Locate the job block to be edited
- Open the Detailed Job View Dialog
- Update job details
- Send a Dispatch text message to assigned technician if appropriate
Editing a Job from the Dispatch Grid:
- Navigate to Dispatch > Dispatch Grid
- Locate the job block that requires editing
- Double‑click the job block to open the Detailed Job View Dialog

Review and update the necessary fields, such as:
- Customer details
- Job description
- Scheduling information

If technician notification is needed:
- Select Dispatch
- Choose a templated Dispatch message
- Press Send to send the text message to the assigned technician
The job is shown in a static state and only in-line edits are supported for specific job attributes. To support the job through its workflow, use the action icons on the left.

Change Status To
- Changes Technician status, not overall status
- Dispatch (send text to assigned technician)
- View Details (open job in view mode)
- Make Changes (open job in edit mode)
- Deposits (receive deposit)
- Close & Invoice
- Cancel This Job
- Exit
The updates are applied immediately, and the Dispatch Grid remains visible.
