One of the great benefits of Service Fusion is to quickly and easily see estimate and job statuses, technician statuses, when jobs are scheduled, who they are scheduled to, and a multitude of other important data readily available on the Dispatch Grid and Calendar. Sometimes, perhaps there are a lot of technicians, or a lot of jobs, or several different types of work, you may feel you see too much!
Filters are per-user, so filters set for one employee will not impact the view for other employees. This can be very useful for managers of different departments to see only jobs and estimates related to their specialty and their technicians.
The Dispatch Grid has two filters; one on the top right corner to control the main section of the Dispatch Grid, and the lower left corner, to control the Unscheduled section (sometimes referred to informally as the bin or bullpen).
The Calendar has one filter at the top right corner.
Filter options include:
Type of scheduled item, such as Job, Estimate, or Task
Statuses, such as Dispatched, On The Way, Estimate Requested, Estimate Provided, Completed
Tech Assigned or Crew such as Jen, Keith, Carole, Charlie, or Dallas North Team
Job Priority such as Low, Normal, High
Job Category such as Installation, Repair, Emergency
Customers (Calendar view only)
You can choose multiple items from each filter option. For example, let's filter our Dispatch Grid to show only Jobs in the Dispatch or On The Way status, with normal priority, in the "Tree Stuff" Job Category, assigned to Jen and Charlie.
And here is our filtered Dispatch Grid! Notice the bottom Unscheduled section is unaffected by the filters set from the top right corner.
To clear set filters, click the green Set Filters button again (if filters are set, it will read Clear Set Filters) and choose the blue Clear Filters button. If you have filters set when you leave the Dispatch Grid, they will remain in affect, so, when you come back to the Grid later on it will still show your filtered results.
Filters work similarly for the bottom Unscheduled section; just choose the items you'd like from the drop down menus, and click the green Set button. Here we can see only unscheduled Estimates:
To clear filters set for the bottom Unscheduled section, click the blue Clear button that appears to the right of the Set button.
Filters function the same on the Calendar, with the added option of filtering by Customer. Here, we've filtered to see only estimates and jobs scheduled to Mr. Tester:
