The Jobs Dashboard is a centralized workspace designed to give teams real‑time visibility into job activity across the organization. It organizes jobs by status, sub‑status, tags, assignment, and billing readiness, allowing users to quickly understand where work stands and what action may be required next. Rather than focusing on individual job edits, the Jobs Dashboard provides a high‑level operational view that supports dispatching, workflow monitoring, and billing oversight.
Best Suited for:
- Back Office administrators
- Dispatchers coordinating technician schedules
- Users overseeing job progress
- Accounting managers monitoring billing readiness
Important Information:
- View jobs organized by tags, statuses and sub-statuses
- Job visibility depends on status configuration and user permissions
- Hidden statuses or tags will not appear on the dashboard
- Sub‑statuses are commonly used and are viewable on the Jobs Dashboard
- The dashboard reflects real‑time job updates
Purpose of the Jobs Dashboard:
- Monitor job progress across all stages
- Identify bottlenecks or delayed work
- Organize jobs using tags and sub‑statuses
- Gain visibility into technician assignments
- Determine which jobs are ready for invoicing
The Jobs Dashboard is intended as a management and visibility tool, not a job creation or editing interface.
Core Components of the Jobs Dashboard:
Dynamic Content Panel:
The dynamic content panel displays jobs based on the selected status, sub‑status, tag, or filter. As selections change, the panel updates automatically to show only the relevant jobs. This enables users to focus on specific subsets of work without navigating away from the dashboard.
Statuses and Linear Progression:
Jobs are grouped by status in a default linear progression that reflects how jobs typically move through scheduling, execution, completion, and billing. Jobs with custom statuses may also appear based on company configuration.
Advanced Search:
Allows users to narrow job visibility using one or multiple criteria, including:
- Date range and jobs without dates
- Job statuses
- Customer and parent account relationships
- Assigned technician(s)
- Agent(s)/Rep(s) assigned
- PO or reference numbers
- Job category and priority
This makes the Jobs Dashboard effective for large job volumes.
Tags and Visibility Controls:
Tags provide an additional organizational layer across statuses. Users can:
- Group jobs using Tags
- Hide Tags when not needed
These controls help reduce clutter and tailor the dashboard to specific workflows.
Jobs Dashboard Sections:
Jobs are grouped into sections based on assignment, progress, and billing workflow, such as:
- My Jobs - Jobs that are assigned to the signed‑in user
- My Additional Visits - Additional site visits that are assigned to the signed‑in user
- All Open Jobs
- Additional Site Visits - all site visits, regardless of assigned technician
- Completed & Ready to Close - Cancelled and Completed
- To Be Invoiced - Job Closed
- Invoiced - Invoiced and Paid in Full
- Closed - Archived and Paid in Full
Each section supports a different operational or billing use case.
