Important Information:
- Allows updates to multiple "open" or "in-progress" jobs simultaneously
- Changes made using this feature overwrite existing data
- Batch Edit changes cannot be undone
- This feature is only available on the Plus and Pro subscription plans
Strategic Workflow:
- Filter jobs that require the same updates
- Apply consistent changes across multiple jobs
- Reduce manual updates and save time
- Ensure accuracy before applying bulk changes
Process Description:
- Navigate to Jobs > Batch Edit Jobs
- Use filters to isolate the jobs you want to update
- Select jobs individually or in bulk
- Click Batch Edit Selected
- Choose the job attributes to update
- Apply changes to all selected jobs
Accessing Batch Edit Jobs:
- Hover over Jobs
- Select Batch Edit Jobs
Filtering Jobs for Batch Updates:
- Use the Filter Jobs panel on the left
- Narrow jobs by:
- Date
- Status
- Customer Name
- Customer Tags
- Tech(s) Assigned
- Other available criteria
- Select Apply Filter to view matching "open" or "in‑progress" jobs
Selecting Jobs to Update:
- Select jobs using one of the following methods:
- Check the box next to each job number
- Check the box in the top header row to select all jobs on the current page
- Check the box next to Batch Edit Selected to select all jobs in the filtered results
Applying Batch Updates:
- Select Batch Edit Selected
- In the edit window, choose one or more attributes to update:
- Current Status
- Sub‑Status
- Start Date / End Date
- Estimated Duration
- Arrival Time Window
- Assigned Tech(s)
- Notes for Techs
- Completion Notes
- Task List
- Review all selected changes carefully
- Select Apply to update all selected jobs
Confirming Changes:
- Verify that updates have been applied successfully
- Review a sample of updated jobs to confirm accuracy
Important: Changes made using Batch Edit will overwrite existing job data and cannot be reversed. Use this feature with care.
