Additional site visits are used when a job cannot be completed in a single day
Site visits allow the same technician or a different technician to return on another day
Technicians should use job statuses to record drive time and labor time for each visit
When the status of the site visit is Completed, the job status will update to Completed if the job is already in Partially Completed status, indicating the job is ready for invoicing
You can create as many additional site visits as needed
Additional site visits are intended when the additional dates are not consecutive days
Strategic Workflow:
Use the Partially Completed status to manage jobs requiring more than one visit
Create a site visit for each return trip needed
Assign different technicians to each visit if required
Add technician notes for each site visit to ensure clarity on instructions
Mark site visits as Completed only when all required work for that job is finished
Step-by-Step Instruction:
Navigate to the job that requires an additional site visit
Open the job in view or edit mode
Click the Add Site Visit button to create a new site visit
Enter the Date, Arrival Time Window and Estimated Duration
Select "Assigned Techs"
Fill in "Notes For Techs" with instructions or notes for the specific additional site visit
Choose to "Notify all tech(s) assigned" or leave uncheck
Save to create the additional site visit
Repeat the process to create as many site visits as needed
