- In most cases, when a merchant attempts to process a payment in FusionPay that exceeds the maximum capacity of the processing limit, the merchant will receive a notification from Stripe directly.
- The transaction will typically decline when processing a payment that exceeds the current processing limit.

- Size limits are specific to each merchant and are originally set based on the estimated transaction volume provided during the sign up process.
- If suddenly you process far more than expected, it could trigger a review or a fund hold.
- If a payment is planned to be processed that exceeds the typical transaction size, Stripe can accept a request to increase the imposed limit prior to payment processing. Make sure to plan the request with ample lead time to allow for communication and manual review to occur.
