ServiceCall.ai allows users to setup external phone numbers which the phone system will ring when a user is not signed into their softphone inside the Call Center interface. A device can be a cell phone or a direct-dial landline or an IP-phone.
This is especially useful when a user is unlikely to be signed into the softphone (e.g. technician in a Ring-a-Tech flow). The first active device becomes the user's primary call route.
You can turn Devices on and off, and select whether the system should send a text message notification to that device each time a new text message or a voicemail is received. This setting will apply to your personal and any shared group inboxes of which you are a member.
Adding a New Device
- Click Settings on the main menu and select My Devices
- Click Add a new Device button in the upper right hand corner of the screen
- Name your device, type in the phone number of the device and click Add
