Traditional Service Fusion services have their roots in the Service catalog in the My Office component of Service Fusion. When observed as an individual entry in the Service Catalog, Services have the following traits -
Services are separated into individual rates known as 'Service Rates'. Each Service Rate is supported with up to 6 individually defined price points, known as 'Rates'. (note the difference between Service Rates and Rates that are a component of Service Rates)
We group all of the Service Rates together under a Service Name. From the largest bucket to the smallest bucket, this would look like the below:
Service Name -- > One or more Service Rates --> Rates
The above make-up would be a way to describe 1 individual Service as we traditionally understand them from a Service Fusion perspective.
Now that we have considered what Services 'look like' from a conceptual perspective, lets take a look at a couple of examples inside the Service Fusion Service Catalog.

We considered these individual elements from an individual entry in the Service Catalog. The service catalog needs to be populated before a service can be used in a rate table of Service Fusion on an estimate / job / invoice.
While understanding how to add a service to the service catalog is important, as this is a pre-requisite to being able to use services functionally on estimates, jobs, and invoices, understanding how these services appear on the rate table(s) in Service Fusion is equally important.
Lets add a service to a job rate table in Service Fusion, and identify the individual elements that correspond to the individual elements that we observed on an individual entry in the Service Catalog:

With the addition of the Profit Rhino integration there will be a few adjustments on how to add the Profit Rhino Flat Rate Tasks shown below:
This is the rate table section of a job. This is presented in edit mode on a pro level account:
There are two places to select to add a Profit Rhino flat rate. These are highlighted below and can be referred to as The 'Add Line Item' button and 'Type to search' field:
When using the 'Type to search' field you will need to type in at least 3 characters and then will be presented with a drop down of both traditional Service Fusion Services and Products as well as Profit Rhino Flat Rates.
When using the 'Add Line Item' button you will be presented with 3 choices
-Flat Rate (Profit Rhino Flat Rates)
-Products (Service Fusion Products)
-Services (Traditional Service Fusion Services)
In this example you would want to select Flat Rate which will bring up the Profit Rhino Catalog to choose from.
Once you select the Flat Rate button you will be presented with the Profit Rhino catalog that was set up to be able to search and select different Profit Rhino Flat Rate Tasks.
The following video will demonstrate the steps:
