We are excited to announce a new field worker app suite of new features designed to enhance your experience in Service Fusion. These updates focus on improving usability, accessibility, and performance. Below is a quick overview of what is new and how these features can help streamline your workflow.
Dark Mode Overview:
- A new visual theme designed to reduce eye strain
- Improve readability in low-light environments
- Helps conserve battery life on the mobile device
- "Dark Mode" can be enabled in your user settings for a more comfortable viewing experience
UI Enhancements Overview:
- "Bottom Nav Bar" for swift navigation
- "Maps" and "Teams View" merged into single screen
- "Presentation View" for estimates
- "Side Navigation Bar"
- "Settings" screen
Additional Improvements:
- Refresh button on "Home" screen
- Clicking the blue + button on the "Home" screen to create a new Job, Estimate and Task
- Custom Fields, Additional Site Visits and Completion Notes are at the bottom of the job "Details" screen
- The blue + button within the "Estimate" screen creates a new estimate option
- Tech Notes, Activity Log, and Job Notes are now within the Notes button
- When clicking on the Tasks, Notes, Docs, Equipment and Invoice tabs, it brings each of these up in a new page, rather than being within the job and seeing job details
- Add photos to the job or estimate by going to "Photos", choose the blue + button and choose from the following options:
- Camera
- Gallery
- Other
- When going to the Customer Info tab, it will take you to the list of customer contacts
- Shows the "Service Picture" above the service rather than below it
- Add Drive & Labor Charges and Billable Expenses directly from the line item by tapping the + icon
- To view or edit Drive & Labor Charges and Billable Expenses, tap the > button
- No longer need to press refresh within the "My Work" section, pull down for the information to refresh
- Searching the "Customer List" will now display up to the 500 recently searched customer accounts
