Receipts for Job Deposits or Invoice Payments can be emailed automatically using the Outbound Email Settings, or they can be emailed manually.
To manually email a receipt, regardless of the type of payment (job deposit or invoice payment), it is done from the job screen.
If starting from the invoice, you can click the job number to navigate to the View Job screen.
On the View Job screen, select the Deposit button at the top.
Then, the Payments, Deposits & Credits overlay will come on screen. This will show both Job Deposits and Invoice payments. Select the Email button.
Another overlay will come on screen, this time it is the Email Receipt screen. Here, you can choose a Communication Template (the drop down list will populate based on the type of payment), and you can adjust the subject and body if desired. Finally, click Send at the bottom to send the receipt to your customer!
