Registering Toll‑Free Numbers for SMS Verification

Best Suited for:

Important Information:

• Toll‑Free Verification is required to enable SMS messaging
• The verification process is completed within Company Information
• Verification progress is saved automatically, allowing you to resume at any time
• Submitted information is reviewed by the SMS vendor
• Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may delay approval or cause rejection

Before You Begin:

Ensure you have the following information available:

• Legal Business Name
• Business website or social media page
• Authorized representative contact information
• Estimated monthly SMS volume
• SMS use case details
• Sample SMS message content

Starting or Resuming Verification:

1. Navigate to My Office
2. Click Company Information
3. Select Start Verification, by the associated phone number

If a verification was previously started, you will return to where you left off.

Completing Business Information:

1. Review the required fields
2. Confirm the Legal Business Name
3. Enter a DBA (Doing Business As) name (optional) 
4. Select Company Type
5. Enter your Business Website URL
   • Or provide a business social media page URL
6. Indicate if your organization sends Political Messaging
7. Select Next

If not a Sole Proprietor, fill in the required fields:

1. Enter the Business Registration Issuing Country
2. Enter the Business Registration ID Type
3. Enter the Business Registration Number
4. Enter your Business Website URL
   • Or provide a business social media page URL
5. Indicate if your organization sends Political Messaging
6. Select Next

Entering Business Address Information:

1. Select your Address Country
2. Select Next
3. Enter full Business Address details

Providing Authorized Representative Information:

Enter the following information for an authorized representative of the business:

1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Email Address
4. Phone Number

Completing Messaging Information:

1. Enter your Estimated Monthly SMS Volume
2. Select your SMS Use Case(s)

   • Most common Service Provider use cases are:

     • Account Notifications

     • Customer Care

3. Provide a brief description explaining how your business will use SMS messaging

   • Example: This number is used to send out communications between us, the contractor and our customers; communications include invoicing, estimates and appointment confirmation

4. Enter a sample SMS message that represents the types of messages you plan to send customers

   • Example: This is Acme Plumbing .Your Technician is on the way. Questions? Give us a call at (xxx)-xxx-xxxx

5. Select the Opt-In Type your business will use

   1. Service Fusion supports Text Message Opt-In

   2. Verbal Opt-In is also commonly used by our service providers

6. Provide Opt-In Policy Proof

7. Providing Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy URLs are optional at this time.

Reviewing and Submitting:

1. Review all entered information for accuracy
2. Select Submit to send your verification request for review

After Submission:

• Monitor verification status from the Company Information page
• Resolve any requested corrections if status shows Action Required
• Resubmit
