Important Information:
- The Acorn Financing widget and QR code appear only on Standard Documents, the Accept Estimate Online link and within Service Fusion
- Several document types and delivery methods do not display financing by design
- Custom Documents
- Communications sent from the Field Worker App
- Financing is only available for US‑based customers
- Financing appears only on newly generated documents after it is enabled
- The Acorn Financing widget will not be included within any communications that are sent from the Field Worker app
Common Troubleshooting Scenarios:
Financing Widget is not Showing on any Documents:
Cause: Financing is disabled in Settings
Resolution:
- Go to My Office > Homeowner Financing
- Toggle Enable Acorn Financing to Active
- Click Save
Financing Widget is not Showing on a Specific Estimate:
Cause: Financing was toggled OFF in the send pop-up window
Resolution:
- Re‑send the estimate
- Toggle Include Financing Options to ON in the send pop-up window
Financing Widget not Showing Even Though all Settings are ON:
Cause: Document totals are hidden
Resolution:
- Go to Company Preferences
- Enable the following:
- Show Estimate Totals
- Show Job Totals
- Show Invoice Totals
- Click Save Changes
The Homeowner Financing is not Visible:
Cause: Acorn Financing is not enabled for the account
Resolution:
- Contact Support to enable the Acorn Financing and External Notifications
Widget Appears but Customer Cannot Apply:
Cause: Customer is located outside the United States
Resolution:
- Acorn Financing is only available in the US
- Customer will need to use a different payment method
Older Estimates do not Show Financing:
Cause: Financing only appears on newly generated documents
Resolution:
- Re‑send the estimate after enabling Acorn Financing
- Only the new version will display the widget
Where the Acorn Financing Widget Does NOT Appear:
- Job SMS text messages
- Custom Document PDFs
- Standard PDF printed Without Rates
- Downloadable Excel Files
- May be considered for a future enhancement
- Online Invoice Payment Links
- Financing is intentionally excluded
- These links are designed for immediate payment
- Worker App
- Planned for future release within the revised Worker App
