Enabling and Disabling Homeowner Acorn Financing

Best Suited for:

Important Information:

• Acorn Financing is automatically enabled
• No setup or configuration is required to begin offering financing
• Financing visibility can be controlled per‑document or turned off globally
• Per‑document controls affect:
  • Estimates
  • Jobs
  • Invoices
• Global settings affect standard documents simultaneously and can be re‑enabled anytime

Strategic Workflow:

• Use Per‑Document Controls when you want flexibility
• Use Global Disable if you do not want financing to appear on any document
• Financing is ideal for large projects that benefit from offering customer payment options
• Smaller service calls may not require financing, making document‑level control useful

Process Description:

1. Review automatic financing behavior
2. Control financing visibility individually on Estimates, Jobs, or Invoices
3. Or, disable financing entirely from the Homeowner Financing settings

Step‑by‑Step Instruction:

Per‑Document Control (Recommended)

This allows you to choose whether Acorn Financing appears each time you send an Estimate, Job, or Invoice.

Managing Financing on Estimates:

1. View the Estimate
2. Click Send Email or Send SMS
3. In the Send pop-up window, locate Show financing options
4. Select the checkbox to show financing
5. Deselect the checkbox to hide financing

Checkbox Selected:

• Financing widget appears on the Estimate and on any attached Standard PDF

Checkbox Deselected:

• Financing options will not appear in the message

Managing Financing on Jobs:

1. View the Job
2. Click Send Email
   • Jobs do not support financing via SMS
3. In the Send pop-up window, locate Show financing options
4. Select or deselect the checkbox as needed

Managing Financing on Invoices:

1. View the Invoice
2. Click Send Email or Send SMS
3. Locate the Show financing options checkbox
4. Select or deselect the checkbox depending on whether financing should appear

Disable Acorn Financing for All Documents (Global Setting)

Use this when you prefer that no customers see financing on any Estimate, Job, or Invoice.

Steps to Disable Financing Globally:

1. Go to My Office > Homeowner Financing
2. Toggle Enable Acorn Financing to Inactive
3. Click Save

Effect of Global Disable:

• Financing will no longer appear on:
  • Estimates
  • Jobs
  • Invoices
• Can be turned back ON at any time
