To begin tracking labor time when the technician arrives, there is an option in Company Preferences to change the function of the On Site status from only stopping Drive Time, to performing two functions simultaneously: stopping Drive Time and starting Labor Time. This setting will automatically transition the status from On Site to the Started status.
To enable this function, navigate to My Office > Company Preferences,
Approximately a third of the way down, on the left, is the setting "Start Job Labor Time When Tech Arrives On Site". Flip the toggle from NO to YES
Save your changes at the bottom of the screen.
In the Field Worker App, when the user updates the status from On The Way to On Site, the app will automatically go from On Site to Started without further user input.
The same behavior occurs with status updates in the back office (desktop) version. When the status is changed from On The Way to On Site, the system automatically goes from On Site to Started without further user input.
