Enabling and Using Manual Job Status Override

Best Suited for:

• Back Office administrators
• Dispatchers
• Users managing job or estimate workflows

Important Information:

• Manual Job Status Override allows users to select statuses in any order
• This bypasses the default linear status progression
• The feature applies to both:
  • Jobs
  • Estimates
• The setting affects both:
  • Back office (desktop)
  • Field Worker App
• Inline status editing is available in both View and Edit modes

Process Description:

1. Enable Manual Status Override in Estimate & Job Statuses
2. Open a job or estimate
3. Choose desired status
4. Save changes

Accessing Status Settings:

1. Navigate to My Office
2. Select Estimate & Job Statuses

Enabling Manual Job Status Override:

1. Locate the Allow Manual Job Status Override setting
2. Select the checkbox to enable it

Changing Job or Estimate Statuses:

1. Open a Job or Estimate
2. Locate the Status
3. Choose any available status from the dropdown
   • Statuses can be selected in any order
   • No restriction based on current workflow position
4. Save or confirm the selected status

Using Manual Status Override in the Worker App:

1. Open the job in the Field Worker App
2. Select the status
3. Choose any available status

Technicians can apply statuses in any order, just like back office users.

Expected Behavior:

• Users can:
  • Skip statuses
  • Correct mistakes
  • Move jobs to required statuses instantly
• The system will not enforce status order
• Workflow automation is bypassed for status progression
