Important Information:
- Time Saving: The technician in the field no longer needs to type in credit card information manually.
- Accessible: Available for both Apple and Android devices; download the Service Fusion Payments App on the mobile device that will process the credit card payment.
- Efficient: Following the steps below, easily pair the M2 Card Reader with the device that will be used.
Make sure to only pair one card reader per device.
Downloading the Service Fusion Payments App:
To process credit cards using the card reader in the field, the Service Fusion Payments App will need to be installed on your device. This ancillary app will facilitate card reader use within the standard Field Worker App:
- Go to the App Store (Apple) or Google PlayStore (Android)
- Search "Service Fusion"
- Download the Service Fusion Payments app to your device
Setting up the Stripe M2 Card Reader:
- Ensure the device is fully charged
- Turn the card reader on by pressing the Power button
- Once the card reader is on, the LED lights on the front will light up
- The card reader will beep twice
- Enable Bluetooth on the device that the card reader will be paired with
- The reader will wait for a Bluetooth connection for 5 minutes before turning off
