You can now send estimates and invoices in a text message with a view online link!
The 'Email' button that used to be present when viewing estimates and invoices has been replaced with a 'Send' button that will allow the choice of 'Email' or 'Text Message'. Select the 'Text Message' option.

The To: Field
You can select the following options when deciding who should receive the estimate or invoice text messages

the primary contact (whose number is displayed by default)

pick from the other contacts, by clicking on 'Other Contacts'

type in any valid phone number to receive the text
Template
You can navigate to My Office > Communication Templates to set up Estimate and Invoice text message templates, or choose from the default system templates for this function - These templates are named 'Text an estimate' and 'Text an invoice' respectively.
Estimate / Invoice format
If custom documents are enabled, you can choose the custom document to display when viewing the estimate or invoice online.
Once the information has been entered, you are ready to click the 'Send' button and send your estimate or invoice via text message!
As an estimate or an invoice that is texted to a customer is likely to be viewed on a mobile device, we have optimized our mobile views for estimates and invoices!
When viewed on a mobile, an example of what the customer will see is shown below:
Estimates viewed on a mobile device will retain full accept / request a change functionality, and invoices will retain the ability to pay a full or partial amount.
